Students are invited to participate in a unique opportunity being held the day prior to Scholar’s Day, hosted by 3 of the top ranked colleges in the world: King’s College London, University College Dublin and University of New South Wales. This exclusive event will take place in Washington, D.C. on Friday, July 31, 2015 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. You will hear firsthand about the scholarly and personal adventures that others undertook while studying in the United Kingdom and Australia. University representatives will also give a presentation on what to expect during your studies and how to prepare your application.
Join us at Scholar’s Day on Saturday, August 1, 2015. The morning session features a student opportunities workshop hosted by NSHSS partner, the CIA. During this workshop, members will learn about opportunities for internships and scholarships through the CIA. Following this session, students can enjoy lunch and participate in a college fair. This intimate college fair setting provides students with the opportunity to speak one-on-one with representatives from The Central Intelligence Agency, Claflin University, College Admission Central, Denison University, Fairleigh Dickinson University, Fisk University, Florida State University International Programs, Johns Hopkins University Summer Programs. Kings College. Minerva Schools, National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS), Semester at Sea, Seton Hall University, Tesoro Corporation, The Princeton Review, Thermo Fisher Scientific, University College Dublin, University of New South Wales, University of Queensland, U.S. Department of State and other top institutions.
We will conclude the day with a scholar recognition event, which will include scholarship presentations, member and educator recognition and notable speakers.
