The International Office is delighted to announce one $3,000 scholarship for an NSHSS member from the United States to study at Newcastle University. The scholarship cheque will be sent to the recipient upon proof of enrollment. This is available to high achieving students from the US applying for entry into degree programmes instructed by postgraduates and commencing in September 2014.

Eligibility
In order to apply for one of these scholarships you must satisfy the following conditions:

  • you must be a citizen of (or permanently domiciled in) USA
  • you must hold a conditional or unconditional offer of a place in a postgraduate degree programme
     at Newcastle University
  • you must have been assessed as international/overseas for fees purposes
  • you must have registered to start your studies during the 2014- 15 academic year to receive the scholarship
  • you are not in receipt of any other scholarships or discounts
