The International Office is delighted to announce one $3,000 scholarship for an NSHSS member from the United States to study at Newcastle University. The scholarship will be awarded upon proof of enrolment. These are available for high achieving students from the USA applying for entry into postgraduate taught degree programmes commencing their studies in September 2014. 

Eligibility:
In order to apply for one of these scholarships you must satisfy the following conditions:

• you must be a national of (or permanently domiciled in) USA
• you must hold a conditional or unconditional offer of a place on a postgraduate degree programme at Newcastle University
• you must have been assessed as international/overseas for fees purposes
• you must have registered to start your studies during the 2014- 15 academic year to receive the scholarship
• you are not in receipt of any other scholarships or discounts

Selection:

Country managers will award on the basis of best qualified students and content of personal statement - in consultation with Head of International Recruitment and faculty representatives. 

Please note: Newcastle University international scholarship (NUIS) postgraduate applications cannot be considered for candidates unless they have already applied for and been offered a place to study at the University.
