Because this experience will not necessarily be an easy one, I think it is an important one to undertake. I do not doubt it will be fun, but also challenging and at times maybe a little frightening, as I do not know the country or the people. Learning to be accepting and to explore is what traveling abroad should be about. If I can serve the community I am visiting, it makes traveling even more rewarding.
