Sasha Zhang is a high school graduate from Tacoma, Washington. She recently accepted a full scholarship from the United States Department of State to spend the 2023-24 academic year in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, as a National Security Language Scholar, and she is passionate about the intersections between international relations and environmentalism.

Sasha is proud of her work developing and campaigning for landmark climate legislation (HEAL Act, WA Strong, Tacoma Green New Deal) in Washington State. In her free time, Sasha also loves singing and songwriting! She worked at a recording studio and released her first full-length album, 'The Gravity of Being', in May 2023 (linktr.ee/szshamusic). Sasha will attend Stanford University starting in 2024.
