Jennifer is entering her 14th year as an Earth Science teacher in the New York City Public School system. Her dedication to her students at William E. Grady CTE High School in Brooklyn, NY and to helping her students make real world and culturally relevant scientific connections does not go unnoticed. Jennifer hopes to use this grant to help further these ideas by bringing her students on trips to see science in their backyards!

NSHSS is providing five (5) $1,000 grants to enhance STEAM-related activities, innovation, and classroom excellence for teachers in a STEAM field. Funds may be used for supplies, materials, field trips or other resources to enhance the delivery of their courses.
