
Maimuna Mwamlwale
Maimuna Mohamed Mwamlwale is a dedicated social worker and teacher at Power Light School in Arusha, Tanzania. With a strong passion for empowering students, Maimuna works tirelessly to provide quality education and support to children in need. Her work focuses on creating an inclusive learning environment, ensuring that all students, regardless of their background, have the opportunity to succeed. In addition to her role as an educator, Maimuna is actively involved in community projects aimed at enhancing the economic stability of women and families. As a recipient of the NSHSS Social Emotional Learning in the Classroom grant, she looks forward to using the funds to enhance learning resources for her school, benefiting both students and teachers alike.
NSHSS wants to aid educators in their positive efforts to spread awareness and affect change regarding mental health in their classrooms. NSHSS is awarding one (1) NSHSS Educator a $1,500 grant to provide Social Emotional Learning (SEL) resources and curriculum to their classrooms.
