CIA STEAM Camp 2023

NSHSS and our partner, the Central Intelligence Agency, are hosting an amazing opportunity for rising junior and senior high school members who are passionate about exploring STEAM education in college and are curious about the application of STEAM within the CIA!

Hundreds of members will apply for this event, but only a few NSHSS scholars will be selected to participate in a STEAM Camp at the CIA Headquarters.

On August 10, 2023, 22 well-deserving NSHSS scholars will participate in a 1-day, full-immersion CIA STEAM Camp at the Central Intelligence Agency Headquarters in Langley, VA! Participants will learn firsthand about the inner workings of the Agency and the Intelligence Community through engaging in STEAM challenges and Directorate Briefings and get a chance to tour the CIA headquarters and Office of Strategic Services (OSS) museum filled with historical CIA artifacts, exhibits, and collections. The day will end with a visit to the CIA Store before heading back to Washington, D.C., to attend Scholar's Day!

Location: CIA Headquarters (Langley, VA)

When: August 10, 2023

*Please note: this is an application-based event. The review committee will choose and invite the top 22 applicants.
