"I have truly appreciated my involvement in NSHSS because I have had opportunities to attend events outside of typical high school or college events. Getting the chance to meet like-minded people is always a great experience. During my senior year of high school, I won the Robert Shepherd Leadership Award. This scholarship went directly towards my tuition statement, and it was helpful to earn a scholarship that is helping to pay for my college right now!" says Josie.
