NSHSS Scholar's Day 2026 Brings Together Top Students, Educators, and Families in Atlanta
WHAT NSHSS’ annual Scholar’s Day brings together hundreds of high-achieving students, educators, parents, and career experts to help students realize their college dreams, including how to secure hundreds of thousands in scholarship dollars to avoid college loan debt.
This year, highlights include:
· First ever middle school award – For the first time in its history, NSHSS is introducing the Young Scholars National Honor Society and awarding an outstanding middle school student
· Local charter school educator honored for work – Ehab Jaleel, co-founder of Amana Academy, is receiving the Claes Nobel World Betterment Award for expanding the academy into one of Georgia's highest-performing public charter networks, extending top-tier education to underserved families
· Educators of the Year announced – Each year, NSHSS awards one top Educator of the Year, and nine finalists, for their impact in and out of the classroom.
The conference will also feature educational workshops, a college and career fair, and networking opportunities for students.
