Do you want the opportunity to engage with teens and mentors from across the world on global challenges? Join to learn about the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and find out ways you can become a changemaker. You will hear exciting ways that you can take action on topics such as climate change, mental health, hunger, equality, plastic pollution, quality education and more. Linda Staheli, Founding Director

Linda Staheli is Founding Director of the Global Co Lab Network, a global nonprofit based in Arlington, VA. Prior to this for 25 years she managed global science engagements, coordinated science diplomacy policy and initiatives working for a number of gov and private sector orgs including the White House, State Department, National Institutes of Health and CRDF Global. She has an M.A. in Public Management with a focus on national security studies from the School of Public Affairs, University of Maryland, and a B.A. in International Studies from the Jackson School of International Studies, University of Washington in Seattle.  

Michael Fulton

Michael Fulton, P.E. founded Western Mechanical Solutions to focus on minimizing the energy use of buildings through innovative application of engineering. His company has saved millions of pounds of CO2 emissions by reducing energy use. He recently was awarded a patent on evaporative cooling control. Mike has 30 years of experience in equipment sales, consulting and construction. He graduated from the University of Maine with a Mechanical Engineering degree.

Sibel Mehmed, Teen Ambassador

Sibel Mehmed is a high school junior and one of the teen leads of the Change Our Climate campaign. She has been a part of the Global Colab Network for more than two years, and is currently one of the teen ambassadors of the Climate Hub. As a passionate changemaker, she aims to inspire other teens to take action and make a positive impact on the climate.

Carolina Jones, Social Media Intern

Carolina Jones is a high school senior from North Carolina. She has been a member of the Co Lab for four years and is a Climate Hub Ambassador, a Social Media Intern for the Co Lab, and a leader of the #ChangeOurClimate campaign. Carolina is interested in youth action, fast fashion, and sustainable energy. She hopes to continue to work as a changemaker innovating solutions to the climate crisis alongside others. 

Tanusri Madhalam, Teen Ambassador

Tanusri Madhalam is a high school senior currently living in Uruguay. She is an ambassador of the Mental Health Hub in the Global Co Lab and has been part of the organization for two years. Working as a part of the Co Lab, she aims to amplify youth voices, increase awareness and dismantle the stigma surrounding mental health.
