Arman Mahmud
Arman is a student entrepreneur and biomedical researcher passionate about building technology that improves lives. He is the founder of MotorMate Health LLC, a pediatric rehabilitation technology venture developing a motor skill training device for children with Cerebral Palsy, with active collaborations including a Microsoft partnership and ongoing grant funding pursuits.
Alongside his venture, Arman conducts computational biology research exploring VEGF–MMP protein interactions under simulated microgravity conditions; work submitted for publication in the Journal of Emerging Investigators as part of the Genes in Space initiative.
He volunteers at a local hospital, where he has supported post-operative patient transport and observed procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab, and shadows physicians at Henry Ford Clinic to deepen his clinical understanding. A student at the nationally acclaimed International Academy (OKMA), Arman is pursuing the University of Michigan on a pre-med track, with aspirations to practice medicine while continuing to innovate at the intersection of engineering and healthcare.
Arman brings a forward-thinking, builder mindset to every challenge; whether prototyping hardware, developing software, or advocating for underserved pediatric populations.
