Avery Wise

Avery is a graduating high school senior from Logos Classical Academy. He maintains a 3.93 unweighted GPA and has been recognized with multiple honors, including the Scholastic Excellence in Science award. Avery became certified as an EMT at 17 and serves weekly with the O.W.L. Volunteer Fire Department, where he responds to 911 emergency calls, provides medical assistance to patients, and administers appropriate medical treatments. Avery also works as a Lifeguard Specialist for The St. James Safety and Rescue Department, where he manages all emergency response and pool operations for the facility and oversees daily lifeguard physical and skills training.
Beyond emergency response, Avery is an active member in his church, serving on the Audio/Visual and Worship teams. He has been a member of the Trail Life USA scouting program for 11 years, serving in multiple leadership roles, including First Officer and High School Chaplain, taking on the responsibility of assisting the Troop Master in troop management and communicating with the Committee Chair to discuss ways to improve the organization. In addition, Avery is a dedicated athlete, having competed in varsity basketball with the NVHAA Centurions for 3 years.
Avery plans to study kinesiology on a Pre-Med track to become an anesthesiologist.
