Carson Schmitt

Carson Schmitt is a senior at Ola High School who will be attending the Georgia Institute of Technology in the fall, studying Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Artificial Intelligence.

While in high school, Carson has been a leader in the Technology Student Association (TSA), serving as a three-time state officer in Georgia, as well as serving a term as the National TSA Vice President. Carson is also a highly competitive Vex Robotics participant on team 5203G - Gremlin. Carson’s Vex awards include two state championships, multiple Vex Signature Event Awards, a World Championship Division title, and most recently the 2025 World Championship Excellence Award.

While not pursuing his STEM and engineering passion, Carson plays on Ola’s varsity Lacrosse team and also heads-up an environmental sustainability club called LITTERally Green Georgia.
