Emma Sicat
Emma Sicat is an incoming freshman at Williams College in Massachusetts, where she plans to major in Economics and looks forward to competing on the Women’s Soccer Team. With aspirations of a future in business leadership, Emma is committed to using her strengths in athletics, academics, and service to make a lasting impact.
A dedicated scholar and athlete, Emma served as President of the Spanish National Honor Society and was a qualifier for the DECA International Career Development Conference. Furthermore, she founded the Athletes Giving Back club at her school, which led to the creation of the school’s first Athletic Honor Society, promoting excellence in both academics and athletics.
Emma’s passion for service is reflected in her efforts to increase equity within sports for underserved youth. After recognizing the large amount of sports equipment that goes to waste each year, she organized an equipment drive across Richmond, collecting over $113,000 worth of gear. She also coaches and referees youth soccer, encouraging and mentoring young athletes in her community.
At Williams, Emma looks forward to deepening her understanding of economics while continuing to lead on and off the field. She hopes to one day pursue a career in business management.
