
James W. Lewis High School Global Leader Scholarship
Janelle Sealey is a first-year college student from Macon, Georgia, driven by a deep passion for healthcare and community service. A certified phlebotomist, she completed a 180-hour internship with Atrium Health Navicent, where she gained valuable clinical experience and strengthened her patient care skills. During high school, Janelle served as President of Key Club, Treasurer of Beta Club, and Secretary of the National Honor Society, earning recognition such as the Georgia Certificate of Merit, Student of the Month, and regional awards in track and field.
She has dedicated several years to volunteering with the Peach County Health Department and Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church, helping organize public health events, school supply drives, and community outreach initiatives.
Now pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Janelle plans to gain experience in both the Emergency Room and Intensive Care Unit before going to anesthesia school to become a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. Her compassion, leadership, and dedication continue to guide her as she strives to make a lasting impact in healthcare.
