Lily Thomas is a dedicated student leader and aspiring healthcare professional with extensive experience in clinical service, adaptive care, and student leadership. She was selected from over 300 applicants for the Lexington Medical Center Partners Program, where she interned across Oncology, Pediatrics, and Med-Surg rotations, assisting with patient care, hygiene, and hospice support. Her compassion and service earned her a hospital scholarship.

Committed to inclusive service, Lily serves as a Senior Counselor and Adaptive Care & Recreation Lead at Camp HUGG and Camp GIFT, mentoring teens with disabilities, supporting nonverbal campers using sign language, and earning the Ambassador Award twice. She also works as a Camp Counselor and one-on-one advocate at Bowers Farm Camp, fostering inclusion and emotional regulation for campers with disabilities.

A Varsity Soccer Captain and six-year team member at Irmo High School, Lily is a four-year varsity athlete named Defense Player of the Year. She also holds leadership roles as Secretary of National Beta Club, Student Council Committee Chair and School Ambassador, Leadership Academy Impact Project Leader, and Senior Staff Writer for her school newspaper. Lily is actively involved in HOSA, Model UN, Science Team, and church-based service and youth mentoring. She hopes to utilize scholarship support to pursue higher education, become a pediatric oncology occupational therapist, and help transform healthcare through empathetic, patient-centered care.
