Mirabelle Beatrice Lee is an actress, writer, and model based in Los Angeles, California. Her screen credits include the Disney Channel series Saturdays, where she played Sonia Little, Apple TV+’s El Deafo, where she voiced multiple characters in the BAFTA and Annie Award-winning series, also nominated for a Children and Family Emmy, and many more.

As a screenwriter, Mirabelle’s original scripts Across the Lawn and Giselle have received international acclaim at festivals including Indie Short Fest, Independent Short Awards, and the Canadian Independent Film Festival. She is passionate about telling emotionally layered stories that center underrepresented voices and explore identity, vulnerability, and culture.

Off-screen, Mirabelle is a dedicated literacy advocate. She is the founder of The Beatrice Martin Foundation, a nonprofit committed to expanding book access and promoting literacy education in underserved communities. She is also the co-founder of Black Writers of Tomorrow, a writing group that empowers young Black voices through creative writing. As former Head of Education for Golden State Readers, she helped mobilize over 1,800 students nationwide in #BreakTheTape, a student-led protest against educational censorship and book bans.

Through storytelling and activism, Mirabelle continues to uplift voices and drive meaningful change in media and education.
