NSHSS Nobel Good Earth Sustainability Scholarship

Gavin Lynch is a National Merit Semifinalist with a strong academic record and recognition as an AP Scholar with Honors. Gavin received the Trib Total Media Outstanding Young Citizen award. He is a member of the National Honor Society, as well as being a First Place winner at the Hack the Ram Coding Challenge. Gavin has worked in environmental advocacy for many years, participating in local celebrations including Vice President Kamala Harris' announcement of lead pipe remediation for Pittsburgh, the first electric school buses coming to Pittsburgh Public Schools with Congresswoman Summer Lee, giving testimony at the EPA on the need to protect the Endangerment Finding and being a featured speaker at a press event with Congressman Chris Deluzio on clean energy.
