Parth Gaba
Parth Gaba, a junior at Valley Christian High School in San José, has been named a 2025 NSHSS Nobel Academic Excellence Scholar, recognized for his outstanding achievements in research, innovation, and community leadership.
Parth leads his school’s International Space Station Research Program, where he has helped design and launch autonomous microlabs that study advanced materials and piezoelectric behavior in microgravity. His work in AI ethics and bias includes research at Stanford University and co-authoring a paper published through MIT URTC IEEE, spotlighting the societal risks of generative AI.
A passionate engineer, Parth has created an AI-driven weed-removal robot, a Varroa mite detection system to improve honeybee health, and sustainability-focused machine learning tools for agriculture.
He is also the founder of WeKare, a student-led nonprofit that has provided more than 10,000 hygiene and school supply kits across ten countries, and the creator of AI Conundrum, a patent-pending educational board game used in schools and libraries to teach responsible AI use.
Parth hopes to continue advancing research at the intersection of technology, ethics, and global impact.
