
Saanvi Dogra
Saanvi Dogra is a junior at Del Norte High School, passionate about research in computational biology and the intersection of AI/ML in healthcare. She has conducted research at Sanford Burnham Prebys, the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), and the Scripps Research Institute and has presented her work at various conferences. Saanvi is a two-time Finalist at the International Science and Engineering Fair and a Grand Award winner. She has been inducted into the Sigma Xi Honor Society and earned a Lifetime Fellowship at the American Association for the Advancement of Science. As the founder of Science Nexus, a global nonprofit, Saanvi is dedicated to empowering youth by making science inclusive, collaborative, and accessible to all. Point of Light has recognized the organization with the Presidential Volunteer Service Gold Award and the National Youth Leadership Council Service-Learning Excellence Award. She has demonstrated leadership at her school, serving as the President of Del Norte's Health Occupations Student of America club, the President of the International Genetically Engineered Machine club, and Vice President of Speech and Debate. Saanvi has also led community outreach initiatives as a Youth Advisor at the UCSD Center for Community Health and a Student Leadership Board Member for the Greater San Diego Science and Engineering Fair.
