Sujay Chava

Sujay Chava is an incoming freshman at Georgia Tech and has a strong passion for computer science and engineering. His goals revolve around the use of technology in diverse fields such as sustainability, robotics, and much more. Sujay led a team of 4 in the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow Competition, where they placed Top 10 in the nation and earned the Sustainability Innovation Award for their work on an AI-based urban heat island solution. Moreover, with over 7+ years of experience in FIRST Robotics, he mentors numerous teammates as the Co-President.

Apart from his STEM extracurriculars, Sujay serves on the Executive Board for his school's student council and assists in planning school-wide activities. In addition, he and friends established a summer camp to improve access to education during the COVID pandemic. In his spare time, he enjoys volleyball, guitar, and photography.
