Yusufbek Abdurakhimov
Yusufbek Abdurakhimov is an 11th-grade student from Tashkent, Uzbekistan, whose work sits at the intersection of artificial intelligence, computer science, cybersecurity, and mathematics. A gold medalist in international Olympiads in math, programming, cybersecurity, and science, he serves as captain of Uzbekistan’s national teams in AI and cybersecurity and is a member of the country’s IOI informatics squad.
As founder of Neuro League and several AI-powered education platforms, Yusufbek designs free tools that help students prepare for Olympiads and navigate applications to top universities. His admission-focused AI platforms have supported more than 25,000 students from over 20 countries, offering personalized guidance to learners who often lack access to expert mentoring. He collaborates on research with professors from Nanyang Technological University and other Singapore-based institutions and was invited to speak at PyCon SG 2026, one of the region’s largest Python conferences. In partnership with major education organizations, he helped launch an international AI Olympiad that attracted participants from 57 countries.
Beyond academics, Yusufbek mentors younger competitors, helps schools and organizations with AI-based challenges, and volunteers to run online workshops and competitions. An active athlete in boxing and martial arts, he views physical discipline as a foundation for resilience in research and innovation.
