NSHSS Poetry Scholarship 2025
Award:
Two (2) $1,000 awards
Eligibility:
NSHSS members graduating high school in 2025, 2026, 2027, or 2028 with a minimum GPA of 3.5
Scholarship Details:
Students may submit their original poetry in any style, from formal verse to free verse to experimental. The poem should be formatted as you wish it to appear in publication.
Application Requirements:
- Educator recommendation letter
- Upload a copy of your work
- A brief artist statement (no more than 200 words) explaining the reasoning behind your piece, along with a short author bio.
- Color headshot suitable for website posting
- Current Transcript (can be official or unofficial)
- Academic Resume
