NSHSS Career and Technical Education (CTE) Grant
Two (2) $1,000 grants
Any high school educator* currently employed at a public or private high school in the United States or internationally.
*We invite school social workers, counselors, homeschool educators, test prep professionals, teachers, administrators, etc. to register for free as an NSHSS educator and begin applying for NSHSS grants.
Grant Details:
The National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS) recognizes the important role Career and Technical Education (CTE) educators play in preparing students for real-world careers. Through hands-on learning, industry skills, and career exploration, CTE programs help students build the knowledge and confidence needed for future success.
To support these efforts, NSHSS is awarding two (2) $1,000 grants to high school CTE educators for classroom equipment, project materials, certification preparation resources, or other tools that enhance hands-on learning and career readiness for students.
NSHSS Educators are eligible to receive one NSHSS grant per calendar year.
Application Requirements:
- Prompt response of 500-800 words to the following question:
- Career and Technical Education provides students with valuable hands-on skills and real-world learning experiences. What are 1 to 2 specific ways this grant will enhance your CTE program and help students gain hands-on career skills? What specific equipment, projects, or partnerships would it make possible?
- Pictures/videos/media showing your leadership in action (optional but strongly encouraged)
- Color headshot
- Professional resume
- Principal/Administrator recommendation
