Alexsandra Walton
Alexsandra Walton, EdD, CMPC, is an educational leader and Certified Mental Performance Consultant with more than 20 years of experience supporting students, educators, and athletes. She currently serves as the Assistant Head of School for Academics at Mercy High School Burlingame, where she oversees academics, curriculum, faculty learning, and student wellness initiatives.
Dr. Walton holds an EdD in Educational Leadership & Equity from Saint Mary’s College of California, an MA in Sport Psychology from John F. Kennedy University, and a BA in History from UCLA. Her passion for the intersection of education, wellness, and performance led her to create and teach Mercy’s first yearlong Sport Psychology course, providing young women with practical tools for building confidence, resilience, focus, leadership, and healthy approaches to performance.
Dr. Walton is committed to expanding access to mental performance education and creating environments in which young people, particularly young women and student-athletes, have the skills and support to thrive academically, athletically, and personally.
NSHSS is providing one (1) $500 grant to be used during 2026 to help defray costs of educational conference registration, travel, and accommodations.
