Chantell Williams

Chantell Williams is a dedicated school social worker, licensed clinical social worker, and advocate for youth and families. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Spelman College and a Master of Arts in Social Work from the University of Chicago Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice (now **Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice)**.

Currently serving as a School Social Worker at Art in Motion, Chantell provides direct and consultative services to students while supporting their social, emotional, and academic development. Her work includes developing and updating IEPs, 504 plans, and FBA/BIPs, conducting safety evaluations and safety planning, and leading professional development for staff focused on social-emotional learning.

Chantell is also committed to strengthening communities beyond the school setting. As a Community Board Member with the Coppin Community Center, she helps cultivate initiatives that support youth and families, promote community engagement, and encourage innovative outreach.

With experience supporting students impacted by trauma, grief, and other social-emotional challenges, Chantell brings a compassionate, student-centered approach to her work. She is certified in Cognitive Behavioral Intervention for Trauma in Schools (CBITS), holds a Professional Educator License in School Social Work, and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She is passionate about creating safe, supportive environments where young people can build resilience, develop essential skills, and thrive.
