Infinite Futures' Former Admissions Officers from Yale, Brown, Northwestern, and Wesleyan are excited to share their insights into the highly selective admissions process. Join Infinite Futures to better understand what Ivy League and Top 25 institutions are looking for.

The session will be led by Corinne Smith (Yale, Brown, and Northwestern) and Ashleigh Redding (Yale and Wesleyan). They'll be addressing common myths, major misconceptions, and even some fun facts. Corinne and Ashleigh will also take live questions from the audience!

Meet the speakers:

Ashleigh Redding

Ashleigh Redding has worked in education for over a decade. She holds a Bachelor’s in Latin American Studies from Wesleyan University and a Master of Business Administration from University of Connecticut. Immediately upon graduating, Ashleigh joined the admissions staff at Wesleyan, where she managed athletic recruitment and alumni volunteers. After four years at Wesleyan, Ashleigh transitioned to the undergraduate admission office at Yale and went on to serve as their Director of Recruitment. In her time as an admissions officer, Ashleigh reviewed tens of thousands of applications and participated in hundreds of committees, both domestic and international. As a former collegiate student-athlete and first-generation college student, Ashleigh appreciates the complexities of the admissions process and enjoys helping students feel excited and empowered in their journey.

Corinne Smith

Dr. Corinne Smith holds a BA in Political Science and Sociology and an MS in Higher Education from Northwestern University. She received her Ed.D from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Prior to joining Infinite Futures, Corinne spent two years working in undergraduate admissions at Northwestern University, followed by eight years at Yale University. She has also read applications for Brown University and UC San Diego. Corinne has read tens of thousands of college applications and served as a voting member on domestic and international admissions committees. She is the co-author of College Essay Journal: A Mindful Manual for College Applications. At Infinite Futures, she serves as the Director of Former Admissions Officers while overseeing the application strategy and essay editing processes for all students.
