Arnab Misra
Arnab Misra is a passionate leader, nationally-ranked athlete, internationally commended musician, and future physician who turns his visions into reality. After amassing 1000+ volunteer hours, he co-founded Fairplay Athletics, a nonprofit that donates sports equipment to young athletes in need. He's also used his influence as an MLS Next athlete by becoming a 7-year lead organizer for his soccer club's Special Olympics and an Athlete Ambassador for the Life Foundation, where he's helped raise awareness for 100s of athletes battling mental health, alongside aiding in developing "Life Now" mobile app. Arnab is also an internationally commended musician with 14 years of experience as a pianist and composer and a 7 year trombone player. From 2020-2022, Arnab was also the president of another nonprofit called Maestro Piano tutoring, where he got to teach numerous young musicians how to heal through music. Arnab's connection to mental health and pediatric disorders has driven him to aspire to become an MD/PhD pediatric neurologist; he strives to live up to his mentor's examples who inspire him to give back to all the communities that have given him so much.
