Darcy Dean

Darcy Dean is a dedicated Finance major at Howard University from Jacksonville, North Carolina. She is actively involved in several campus organizations, including HerCampus and the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW), where she contributes to community service events and collaborative projects that empower women and underserved communities. Passionate about mental health awareness and financial literacy, Darcy brings creativity and leadership to every opportunity. In high school, she held leadership roles on sports teams and in clubs, organizing fundraisers and awareness events. She also balanced academics, marching band, cross country, soccer, dance, and a part-time job—developing resilience and a strong work ethic. Darcy aspires to use her finance degree to uplift minority communities and build resources for economic empowerment in her hometown and beyond.
