Jayde Hogate
Jayde is an accomplished student and dedicated leader, recognized for her exceptional contributions both academically and within her community. As a library assistant, she nurtured a love for reading and learning among her peers. Her passion for the arts shines through her involvement in the Colorguard for the marching band, where she showcased her creativity and teamwork skills.
In addition to her artistic pursuits, Jayde demonstrated remarkable leadership by serving as the president of the chess club, where she fostered critical thinking and strategic skills among fellow students. She also led the Welk News crew, honing her communication skills and providing a platform for student voices.
Her commitment to student governance was evident as she served on the board of electives, advocating for her peers' interests. Furthermore, she founded the Rock the Vote club, aiming to engage young voters and promote civic participation, an initiative that significantly contributed to her receiving the scholarship. Through these diverse extracurricular activities and volunteer efforts, Jayde has exemplified a strong dedication to leadership, community involvement, and academic excellence, making her a deserving scholarship recipient.
