Jillian Cynar
Jillian Cynar is thrilled to graduate from Plainedge High School with an impressive 3.95 GPA. Sports have played a significant role in her high school experience; she has been involved in both varsity and JV volleyball, serving as co-captain for both teams and currently holds the position of captain on the varsity track team. Beyond sports, Jillian has embraced leadership opportunities in various extracurricular activities, serving as Vice President of Best Buddies and holding secretary roles in organizations such as the HS PTAs and Choir Council. Academically, she is proud to be a member of the National Honor Society and three local honor societies, recognizing her achievements in Math, Science, and English. Committed to giving back to her community, Jillian has volunteered with the Special Olympics and acted as a peer coach for students with learning disabilities. As she embarks on her college journey, she is eager to delve deeper into her passion for chemistry and physics, with a minor in special education, while continuing to make a positive impact wherever she goes.
