Kadance Fredericksen is a dedicated student, community servant, published author, and aspiring veterinarian. She has been an A honor roll student throughout her academic career and is actively involved in extracurricular activities, including serving as Secretary of the National Beta Club and being a member of the Baker Gatorettes Dance Team for three years. Kadance is also a National Honor Society member and has earned recognition as a College Board National Rural and Small Town Scholar.

Kadance’s passion for service shines through her leadership in founding Kada’s Promise, a nonprofit organization that has distributed over 14,000 teddy bears and blankets to children in 23 states and four countries who have experienced trauma or abuse. She is also the author of Kada’s Promise, a children’s book used in mental health facilities to provide comfort and hope to children navigating trauma.

Kadance has raised over $25,000 for the Ronald McDonald House through her lemonade stand fundraiser and has contributed to numerous other causes, including organizing a suit drive for disabled veterans and volunteering at local shelters and animal clinics. She has earned accolades such as Crestview Citizen of the Year, becoming the youngest recipient at age 14, and eight Presidential Volunteer Gold Service Awards. Kadance’s dedication inspires her goal of becoming a veterinarian to serve animals and communities in need.
