Kareena Temple

Kareena has demonstrated her commitment to her school and community through a variety of activities and experiences. She has been a dedicated member of her school's dance team all four years of high school, developing teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. Kareena is also an active member of her school's Black Student Union, where she helps raise awareness of important issues and experiences within her community. Through the Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP), she worked with children, and during the school year, she worked closely with middle school students. These experiences have strengthened her leadership and communication skills, as well as her ability to connect with and support younger students.
