Lucas Flowers

Lucas Flowers is an incoming student at Purdue University's John Martinson Honors College, majoring in Robotics Engineering Technology. He is the founder, president, and lead programmer of FRC Team Epsilon, a Central Phoenix robotics team serving students from over five local schools. Team Epsilon empowers aspiring engineers through a hands-on approach, operating like a startup to develop practical industry skills.

Lucas is enthusiastic about control systems in engineering, especially with the emergence of AI. He enjoys programming and building projects. His primary goal is to break into physical AI and robotics, bringing intelligent assistants out of the computer and into the physical world. Outside of engineering, he is an officer in his school's hiking and backpacking club, frequently backpacking and summiting local mountains. He is also passionate about music and practices DJing.
