Peyton Vialpando
Peyton Vialpando is a 2026 graduate of Pueblo County High School. She plans to pursue a double major in Dance and Business at Chapman University. For the past 10 years, she has trained and competed in dance while also choreographing at a variety of studios throughout Colorado. Recently, she expanded her experience by teaching dance classes at nursing homes, local studios, and high schools.
In 2024, she founded a nonprofit organization that encourages residents at Primrose Retirement Center to stay active through music from their generation. She has also dedicated much of her time to the Pueblo County Band and Vocal Choir, where she learned to play three instruments. The experiences and skills she has gained over the years have inspired her to continue pursuing the arts beyond high school, with the goal of building a career in the performing arts industry.
The Claes Nobel Future Female Leader Scholarship was established to encourage and empower young women to assume future leadership roles in their colleges and universities, their careers and communities, and to become mentors for the young women following in their footsteps. Leadership doesn’t have to mean being the head of a club. Actions, not titles, make leaders.
