
Sophie Gutter
Sophie Gutter is a junior at Saddle River Day School who has a passion for helping children and making a difference in her surrounding community. She is the founder of Writing Mastery, a revolutionary software program that helps students develop stronger writing skills and provides direct, AI-driven feedback on areas where students can improve their writing. This program is being used at schools throughout the United States and in Africa, as well as with
children at Hackensack Hospital who are unable to attend school due to cancer treatment. Sophie is also the author of Chess for Chicas, a book designed to empower more girls to play chess, and has been running a summer program for the last four years that provides free chess coaching to students with ADHD and autism. She is also the founder and president of her school’s chess club, the vice president of her school’s FBLA team, the treasurer of her school’s Model UN team, and a varsity tennis player.
