Suhina Mitra
Suhina Mitra is a passionate young leader and an advocate dedicated to empowering her community and beyond. As the first Children’s Home Society (CHS) Youth Ambassador of Space Coast, she embarked on a mission to make a transformational impact on underprivileged children and their families in Title I schools. Continuing her advocacy, Suhina attended the Legislative Sessions of Brevard County, representing CHS, and also founded the CHS Chapter in her school. At school, Suhina also serves as the President of the Senior Class, HOSA , and the captain of the girls varsity tennis team. As the lead violinist and live performance coordinator of the MusicMD program, she also actively advocates music therapy for patients. Inspired by her involvement with MusicMD, Suhina founded Harmony4Healing, a youth-led non-profit organization providing recorded virtual musical presentations to hospital patients across the globe. As a volunteer, Suhina performs electrocardiography (ECG) on students aged 12-18 at Who We Play For, an organization with a mission to detect early signs of sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) in students through affordable heart screenings.
