Tamari (Tako) is a dedicated student from the country of Georgia who is deeply interested in Economics. Given her interest, she created Finomic, a youth-led Economics-related journal in 2024, in hopes of increasing financial literacy and awareness about Economics among the youth. Her website has garnered views from more than 18 countries, and her volunteer team consists of students from around the world.

Her efforts for Finomic and her aim to increase economic knowledge have led her to be in the top 5 in the Teens Dream Changemaker Video Challenge and to receive an NSHSS Academic Excellence Award. Aside from trying to educate others, Tamari has also embarked on her own Economics journey and has become a finalist in the SARC High School Academic Research Competition for her research regarding digital currencies. She is also set to conduct research under the mentorship of an Ivy League professor.

Tamari is a part of many global networks and societies, including the Honor Society. She is a volunteer in a youth organization where she writes blogs regarding her IB academic journey for other students. Furthermore, she holds leadership roles both in her home country as well as abroad by being the Deputy Student Ambassador of her school and the Outreach Co-Lead in a youth organization.
