Taylor Lankford
Taylor Lankford is a first-year Film and Television student at the University of California, Los Angeles. She combines her passion for storytelling with technical expertise, developed through years of experience in editing, directing, and cinematography. At UCLA, Taylor is actively involved in creative and extracurricular activities that showcase her commitment to impactful narratives and visual storytelling.
As the Executive Producer of her high school’s Film and Television program, she honed her skills in production, editing, and directing. Beyond the classroom, Taylor has been deeply committed to youth empowerment through her 16-year involvement in leadership development for Black youth, serving in various roles, coordinating conferences with hundreds of attendees, and managing social media outreach for the Far West region of Jack and Jill of America Inc. This work reflects her dedication to amplifying voices and fostering community.
Taylor's accomplishments extend to her volunteer efforts and participation in initiatives that merge her love for film with community engagement. Driven by excellence and creativity, she consistently strives to push boundaries and inspire through her craft, making her an emerging voice in the world of film and storytelling.
