NSHSS Collegiate Council Leadership Scholarship

Award:

Three (3) $1000 scholarships to NSHSS Collegiate Council Members with a minimum GPA of 3.0 who demonstrate specific ways in which they have represented NSHSS

Eligibility:

NSHSS Collegiate Council Members with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher who demonstrate specific ways in which they have represented NSHSS and helped to build a positive global community. *Applicants should be currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate school at the college level.

Scholarship Details: NSHSS Collegiate Council members come from all over the world and provide high school students with information on NSHSS programs, scholarships, and activities as well as advice on surviving freshman year and college life in general. Our Collegiate Council members join for the leadership opportunities and the ability to mentor the next generation of NSHSS members.

Collegiate Council members are an important part of NSHSS, from giving a tour of their college or university campus to incoming NSHSS students, to advising, volunteering, and mentoring on new NSHSS programs, members, initiatives, and more.

Resume describing your school and community involvement
Transcript
Color headshot suitable for website posting
Personal statement of 500-800 words in response to one of the following questions:

A. In what specific ways you have represented NSHSS as a Collegiate Council Member?

B. As an NSHSS Collegiate Council Member, how have you contributed to building a positive global community?

C. How have you reached out to other ambassadors, members, and/or student council members?
