Crystal Rhodes
Crystal Rhodes is currently an educator/counselor in the Del Valle School District. She has been in the field of substance use/abuse for over 15 years. She became a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor after losing her uncle to a drug overdose in 2009. Since then, she has developed a passion for helping those families and individuals who suffer from addictions and/or chemical dependency.
Ms. Rhodes will be utilizing the grant to complete her graduate studies and obtain her Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling. Her overall goal is to become a Licensed Professional Counselor and specialize in adolescent trauma.
NSHSS is providing two (2) $2,500 awards to help NSHSS Educators* with the costs of tuition and course-related expenses for teachers and counselors who are enrolling in university courses in Fall 2024, Spring 2025, or Summer 2025.
