Cassidy Reynolds is a service-oriented and determined high school student, passionate about changing the tomorrow of healthcare for the better. Aspiring to specialize in pediatric transplant surgery- joining the mere 12% of female transplant surgeons in the United States- Cassidy has developed her leadership and advocacy skills in high school by serving as the 2023-2024 Alabama HOSA State President (representing over 12,000 members from across the state), Class President during sophomore and junior year, as well as Head of Technology Committee for Student Government senior year, President of Chelsea High School's Key Club for multiple years (accumulating 200+ hours of community service), a member of her high school's Student Ambassadors, a leader in the first Cancer Kids First and SODA Chapter in the state of Alabama, a member of two different Alabama State Department of Education programs (including serving as a Board of Director for Alabama HOSA and Health Science Programs Directory), and the top youth fundraiser (raising just over $3,500) for Alabama's Make-A-Wish Foundation.
