Cathleen Uhren

Central Catholic High School

Bloomington, IL

Cathleen Uhren is a 2024 Central Catholic High School graduate in Bloomington, Illinois. While attending CCHS, Cate has acquired a 4.0 grade point average and is a member of the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, and the house captain of the governing student body.

Cate has been a four-year varsity letter winner in basketball, receiving all tournament, conference, and area recognition. Along with basketball, Cate exercises and volunteers at Special Olympics of Illinois, Miracle League, Saint Vincent DePaul food pantry, and numerous other charities.

After high school, Cate plans to continue her academic and athletic career at North Central College in Naperville, Illinois, to acquire a health sciences degree and eventually continue her education to pursue a career as a physician’s assistant.

Scholarships Awarded in 2023: NSHSS Student Athlete Scholarships
