Riley Ellison

Riley Ellison is a Senior at Great Crossing High School in Georgetown, Kentucky. A four-year Varsity volleyball player, Riley will attend Queens University of Charlotte in North Carolina next year, where she will be a Defensive Specialist with their D-1 volleyball team.

 Riley’s service work in her community is centered around her family’s charity, the Finley Foundation, which has raised over $300,000 for SIDS research. She also cares deeply about food insecurity, working with local businesses and schools to raise resources for her local food bank. She is proud of collaborating with her high school’s administration, staff, and peers to return her high school to in-person homecoming events after COVID-19, which over 700 students attended. An alumna of Kentucky’s Governor’s School for Entrepreneurs program, Riley plans to major in business and become a professional who pushes for positive change.
