Hinksey Labs is awarding $4,000 in merit-based scholarships to high school students who demonstrate curiosity, initiative and the potential to thrive in a business research environment.

• 2 scholarships of $1,000 each

• 4 scholarships of $500 each

Total scholarship value: $4,000

This scholarship applies specifically to the standard tuition for the Hinksey Business Research Scholars Program.

Eligibility

Freshman, Sophomore and Junior high school students who:

• Are interested in business, economics, entrepreneurship or related fields

• Have an excellent academic record

• Are interested in developing their research and analytical skills

Prior research experience is not required.

Application Requirements

Hinksey Labs is an international business research hub connecting high school students with Ivy League and Oxbridge mentors to investigate real-world questions in business, economics and related fields.

To apply for the scholarship, students should submit a 500-650 word response to the following prompt:

Scholarship Prompt

In 500-650 words, explain why you believe you would thrive in a business research environment.

Use one or two examples that demonstrate your curiosity, initiative, analytical thinking, problem-solving or persistence.

Then, identify one business or economic question you would be interested in researching, explain why it interests you and briefly describe how you might begin exploring it.

Prior research experience is not required. We are interested in how you think, what you are curious about and the potential you bring.
