The NSHSS Diversity Scholarship of USD $2,000 recognizes five (5) high school junior or senior students who have demonstrated a commitment to expanding the diversity and inclusion initiatives in their school, community, or workplace.
Application Requirements:
- Resume
- Transcript
- Educator or program leader recommendation
- Color headshot
- Personal essay in response to the following prompt in 500 words or less:
- How have you raised awareness for or helped to expand the diversity and inclusion initiatives in your school, community, and/or workplace? Please be sure to include your leadership roles in furthering a more diverse and inclusive environment.
