NSHSS Passion for Public Service Scholarship 2025
Award:
Three (3) $1,000 awards
Eligibility:
NSHSS high school members graduating in 2025, 2026, 2027, or 2028.
Scholarship Details:
Public service can take many forms: urban planning, environmental protection, emergency services and first responders, even military service and public education. Those who are public servants are integral parts of everyday communities.
Application Requirements:
- Educator recommendation letter
- Prompt response of 500-800 words to the following question:
- What impact do you want to make locally, nationally, or globally? What prompted you to consider this career path? Provide specific examples.
- Pictures/videos/media showing your leadership in action (optional)
- Color headshot suitable for website posting
- Current Transcript (can be official or unofficial)
- Academic Resume
