Greg Goff Leadership Scholarship

In partnership with the NSHSS Foundation, the Greg Goff Foundation is committed to helping young people by investing in their education and development. According to Greg Goff, "Leaders earn respect by following their principles; leaders inspire with their passion, enthusiasm, and diligence; and leaders stay leaders when they are accountable to others." In this spirit, the Greg Goff Foundation is sponsoring college scholarships based on outstanding leadership to help encourage and recognize young leaders in their schools and communities and to help invest in their higher education.

Scholarship funds will be sent to the university where the student enrolls and can be used for tuition, books, room and board, and other college-related expenses. The scholarship funding is for the freshman year in college and is non-renewable.

• Letter of recommendation 
• Prompt response of 500-800 words to one of the following questions:
  • 1.  Who has inspired you to become a leader and in what specific ways have you demonstrated the leadership skills you have learned from your role model?
  • 2.  What does "leadership" mean to you and how have you demonstrated your definition of leadership in your school and/or community?
• Pictures/videos/media showing your leadership in action (optional)
• Color headshot suitable for website posting
• Academic resume
• Current Transcript (can be official or unofficial)
