NSHSS Passion for Public Service Scholarship

Award:

Five (5) $1,000 awards

Eligibility:

High school and college students of all levels

Scholarship Details:

Public service can take many forms: urban planning, environmental protection, emergency services and first responders, even military service and public education. Those who are public servants are integral parts of everyday communities.

Application Requirements:

Educator recommendation
Prompt response of 500-800 words to the following question:
- What impact do you want to make on a local, national, or global scale? What prompted you to consider this career path? Provide specific examples.
Pictures/videos/media showing your leadership in action (optional)
Color headshot suitable for website posing
Academic resume
Current Transcript (can be official or unofficial)
